TradeCert · CDL & EPA Section 608
Know the number. Know the rule. Pass the test.
34,931 practice questions across 13 exam categories, every one with the explanation behind it — on your phone, working with the data switched off.
What you get
A study tool, not a quiz app. Everything here exists because it changes whether you pass on the first attempt.
-
Every answer explained
All 34,931 questions state why the correct answer is correct and which rule it comes from — so you learn the material instead of memorising letters.
-
Timed mock exams
Full-length simulations under a countdown, scored against the real pass mark for that endorsement. You find out where you stand before the testing centre tells you.
-
A mistakes deck that spaces itself
Every question you get wrong goes into a spaced-repetition deck and comes back at widening intervals until you have genuinely got it.
-
Readiness by category
Each of the 13 categories carries its own readiness score built from your recent accuracy, so you can see exactly which endorsement still needs the hours.
-
Study notes
Condensed written notes for each topic — the pressures, distances, thresholds and procedures — for when you would rather read than drill.
-
Flashcards
Fast recall practice for the figures that have to be automatic by exam day.
-
Search the whole bank
Type a term — governor cut-out, evacuation level, placard — and pull every question and explanation that touches it, across all 34,931.
-
Read aloud
Questions and explanations can be read out, so you can keep studying while your hands and eyes are busy.
-
Works with the data off
The entire bank ships inside the app. No account, no sign-up, no sync, and nothing to go down the week before your test.
Every question, counted
Thirteen categories across two exam families. These are the real numbers in the shipping app, not a rounded marketing figure.

Free to start, paid once
No subscription, no trial that expires, no account to create.
Forty percent of every category is free — not a free sample of one exam and a paywall on the rest. That is more than thirteen thousand questions, with the explanations, before the app ever asks you for money.
One optional in-app purchase unlocks the complete bank and removes all advertising. It is a one-time payment rather than a subscription, and it restores automatically on any device signed in to the same Google account. Advertising never appears during a timed mock exam, paid or not.
Where the questions come from
Every item is original practice material written against current federal sources: the FMCSA CDL manual, 49 CFR for hazardous materials, and 40 CFR Part 82 for refrigerant handling. Nothing is copied from a real exam, and every numeric threshold is checked against the regulation text rather than written from memory.
What we can and cannot promise
TradeCert is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FMCSA, the US EPA, any state licensing authority, or any testing organization — and passing a practice test does not guarantee passing the official exam. Always confirm current requirements with the issuing agency.
